Happy snowy Sunday from the Mitten. Sigh. Even though I’ve lived here my whole life, and know the weather is unpredictable, I thought maybe the white stuff was gone. Snow or not, Sunday is my favorite day of the week. Church, spending time with family and sharing my Mitten Moments with you is what I call the perfect day!

Last weekend, my youngest son bought me yellow roses for my birthday. I’m happy to report that they are still beautiful! A ray of sunshine to a cold, snow dusted day!

My Personal Mitten Moments

  • Friends, I don’t watch a lot of television, but when I come across something that I love, I like to share it with you. This week, I binged The English. It’s a six episode mini-series set in the 1890s American West. Emily Blunt, who is one of my favs, stars as Lady Cornelia Locke, an Englishwoman who travels there seeking revenge on the man she believes killed her son. The English was one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long, long time!
  • Did you know I’m remodeling our spare bedroom? I’m creating a room for when my granddaughter’s come to spend the night and when we have guests. Trying to make it kid approved and adult oriented has been a fun challenge. Big Al and I are finishing it up this week, just in time for our first guest who will arrive this coming weekend.
