Sometimes the smallest details make the biggest impression. This little mini clay pot took just a few minutes to pull together, and it’s already my favorite spring touch to my Easter table this year. With only six simple supplies, most of which you probably already have on hand, you can create a fun, charming and budget-friendly accent piece.

What You’ll Need
I love an easy craft and this one comes together with just a few simple supplies. You may have some of these supplies and those you don’t will be easy to find at your local dollar store, craft store or online. I’ve linked everything below to make it easier for you!
Supply List

Paint and Add Your Button
Once you decide what color or colors to use, you’re ready to paint your buttons. I used pink and orange, rotating the colors for every other place setting.
I used a hot glue gun to attach the button to the clay pot. Hot glue works quickly, so have your button positioned and ready before you apply the glue. As always, use caution when using a hot glue gun.
*Please note that I am not responsible for any injuries that may occur when using a hot glue gun. Adult supervision is recommended when crafting with children.*
Pro Tip
If the holes in your button get clogged with paint, simply use a toothpick to clear out the holes while the paint is still wet. Using the toothpick allows you to hold the button in place while painting them, too.
Add the Moss
Add a generous amount of moss to the inside of your clay pot. I like to overfill it slightly so the candy eggs sit up on the top and don’t sink too deep. Any type of moss will work. Just use what you have on hand!
Fill with Easter Eggs
Now, this is the best part, because if you’re like me, you get to sample the goods before you fill the terra cotta pots! I chose the hard shell chocolate covered Easter eggs. The package has four pastel colors and they look festive in the clay pot. If you prefer the foil wrapped eggs, those will work great, as well.

Style on Your Spring Table
This little DIY Easter clay pot looks so cute on my spring tablescape. I placed mine directly on the dinner plate. If you set your table with napkins on your dinner plates, you can place the clay pot near the front of the plate. However, you decide to style it, it’s sure to bring a smile to anyone who sits at your table!
