I’ve spent part of the week working on a blanket for a friend. It’s always amazing to me, what happens when you put a few patterns with similar colors together. It creates a beautiful one-of-a-kind quilt. If you didn’t know I make blankets, you can read all about them here.
My Personal Moments
- I must confess, I’m not much of a baseball junkie. However, I did watch the Detroit Tigers clinch their first playoff bid, in 10 years, on Friday night! Michigan is on the upswing as far as winning streaks go. Our college and professional teams did well last year, and most are off to a great start this year! It’s a fun time in the D, for sure!
- I just ordered The Night We Lost Him by Laura Dave. It tells the story of estranged siblings Nora and Sam. They reunite to investigate their father’s mysterious death after he falls from a cliff. As they delve deeper, they uncover a decades-old family secret that could have fatal consequences. A good mystery…my fav! Molly from Molly in Maine shared Books in a Basket. She suggests using a basket filled with books as an easy way to add color, texture, and personality to your home decor.
