My Personal Moments
- We had the most magical weekend in Chicago! We took our oldest granddaughter to the American Girl store and most of the family was able to make it. She is turning five, and after all, five is a very big deal! Watching her was pure joy!
- Have I ever told you I was a criminal justice major in college? If not, now you know why I’m drawn to true crime and mystery novels! I just ordered my next read. Framed: Astonishing True Stories of Wrongful Convictions by John Grisham and Jim McCloskey. This a non-fiction book that explores ten harrowing true stories of individuals who were wrongfully convicted and imprisoned. The book dives into the systemic flaws within the justice system that can lead to such injustices, highlighting the impact of factors like racial bias, faulty eyewitness testimony, and prosecutorial misconduct.
- Did you see Sherwin Williams announced their Color Capsule of 2025? The collection is made up of nine versatile and timeless shades designed to create a sense of calm and comfort in any space. What do you think? I’m loving the chartreuse, rain cloud, and bosc pear! Tell me your favorite!
