Mitten Moments

Happy Sunday, friends! It’s been a minute since I shared my Mitten Moments. I’ve had a busy couple of weeks, but I am ready to share again! So settle in, grab your favorite cup of and check out all the goodness I have for you!

My Personal Moments

  • I’ve been a Martha Stewart fan since way back. How about you? Have you seen the new Netflix documentary ‘Martha’? Overall, I really liked it. There were a couple of surprises for me but I thought it was a fascinating look at her life and career. She actually was the first real influencer!
  • We went to a new restaurant (new to us) with some of our friends. The White Horse Inn is in a little town about an hour from our home. The original building was developed in 1848 and the decor pays homage to the spirit of the past, with an equestrian theme reminiscent of stagecoach and fox-hunting days. All decorated for Christmas, the atmosphere was amazing and food delish! They even had some igloos set-up outside. So fun! If you are local I highly recommend it!
  • In one of my previous posts, I recommended the book Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulak. He now has a new book out that I just ordered. It’s called The Last One at the Wedding. It’s about Frank Szatowski, a UPS driver from rural Pennsylvania, who is shocked when his estranged daughter, Maggie, invites him to her upcoming wedding in New Hampshire. However, Frank soon realizes that something is amiss. His daughter’s fiancé, Aidan, seems distant and secretive, and his entire family seems uneasy. As the wedding approaches, Frank uncovers a disturbing connection between Aidan and a missing woman, leading him to question the true nature of Maggie’s fiancé and the family he’s about to join.

My Favorite Weekly Find

I’ve been on the hunt for a trench to wear this fall and winter. This women’s coat is a long, double-breasted trench coat made of faux suede. It has a notched lapel collar, two side pockets…which I definitely need, and a belt at the waist. It comes in black and a leopard print. Can you guess which one I bought?
