Welcome back to another week of Mitten Moments. I’m so glad you’re here! It’s been a cold, snowy week in Michigan and I’ve had more hot tea than I can count. Frigid or not, it’s Sunday, and that means it’s time to share some fun moments to brighten your day. So grab a cup of cozy up, and get ready to dive into some inspirational fun!
“Winter sunlight is a warm old soul, spreading love in the bitter cold.” – Angie Weiland-Crosby

My Personal Moments
- I was all prepared to have a Super Bowl party. I was all prepared to celebrate the Detroit Lions, on Super Bowl Sunday. I was NOT prepared for them to lose, last week. Sigh…Is your team still in the race?
- I’ve been working on some Valentine content and looking forward to posting for spring. However, this week, I decided to finally decorate in a few places for the winter season. Things were left as a clean slate when I removed Christmas and finally took the time to add some decor. A simple centerpiece with the pretty touch of velvet ribbon was exactly what my dining table needed!
- I always like to share the books on my reading list. My next read is Beautiful Ugly by Alice Feeney. The book is about Grady Green, a writer, who calls his wife to share his exciting news as she is driving home to meet him. He hears his wife slam on the brakes, get out of the car, then nothing. When he eventually finds her car by the cliff edge the headlights are on, the driver door is open, her phone is still there…but his wife has disappeared. A year later, Grady is still overcome with grief and desperate to know what happened. He can’t sleep, and he can’t write, so he travels to a tiny Scottish island to try to get his life back on track. Then he sees the impossible—a woman who looks exactly like his missing wife. Sounds good, right?!
