Happy Sunday, friends! Another week has quickly come and gone and that means it’s time for another episode of Mitten Moments. If you’re new here, Mitten Moments are all the lovely moments I’ve shared and found, last week. So sit back and get ready to be inspired!
Spring has definitely sprung here in the mitten! We’ve had absolutely beautiful weather the past week and it looks like it’s here to stay through the coming week. The temps have been in the high 60’s and 70’s and we even hit 80, one day last week! We’re about two or three weeks ahead of last year in the blooming category and I couldn’t be happier! Sunshine and all things spring is honestly so good for the soul!
How’s the weather in your neck of the woods?

“God’s grace is a light that shines brightest in the darkest places, revealing beauty where we might not have expected to find it.”
My Personal Moments
- My BEST personal moment…As my family and I celebrated the blessing of Easter, we also celebrated, with grateful hearts, our son Mitchell’s clean MRI. If you don’t know his story and how Cottage in the Mitten came to be, I would love for you to read all about it HERE! Mitchell’s story is one of faith, perseverance, God’s grace and how it changed our family for the better. You may ask how something tragic can change a family for the better. Only God can do that!

- I made my way to Joann’s one last time before they shut their doors. Have you been? I found some great deals on yarn and to top it off, I scored a large grapevine wreath for a steal at 70% off! Surprisingly, they still had some really good merchandise. If you’re a crafter or love to sew, I’d say it’s worth the trip!
- I just finished the second book in The Housemaid series! The Housemaid’s Secret by Freida McFadden did not disappoint. This series plunges you into the twisted life of a seemingly perfect housekeeper, Millie, who harbors dark secrets beneath her polished exterior. Expect a gripping psychological thriller filled with suspense, unexpected twists, and the creeping realization that nothing is as it seems behind closed doors. Thanks to my son’s girlfriend, I have the third book The Housemaid Is Watching and I can’t wait to start it!
