We had a fun day celebrating Big Al and my oldest son for Father’s Day! A delicious Italian lunch was the perfect start, followed by good quality family time. Whether you’re remembering someone special or you spent time with the men who mean the most, I hope you made some amazing memories and had some meaningful moments today.

My Personal Moments
- Thank you to everyone who reached out or prayed for my friend, Kelly. Her brain surgery went well and she is at home recovering!
- My roses are looking amazing this year! I’m considering adding another rose bush or two. I’d love to hear about your favorites!
- Remember when I shared my simple herb garden? Well, my dill has grown like crazy, and I just cut some to use in a new dip I’m working on. I’m hoping to share it with you soon!
- Surprise! I ordered a new book! I haven’t read a Nora Roberts book in a long time and she’s out with a new novel. Hidden Nature follows Natural Resources police officer Sloan Cooper who survives a near-fatal shooting and retreats to her family’s peaceful mountain home to recover. While there she uncovers a chilling pattern of disappearances spanning three states. As she pieces together clues and teams up with a new love, she finds herself racing against time to bring justice to the missing.

My family is ready to hit the beach! We’ve rented a house on the west side of the state and will be heading there this summer. That being said, I’ve gathered a few beach day essentials that I know we are going to need.

Are you a gardener? I have a raised bed garden and enjoy the past time so much. It’s a wonderful hobby. However, I think I found what my garden is missing. My good buddy, Jennifer from Cottage on Bunker Hill shared her DIY Garden Girl Scarecrow. Isn’t she the cutest garden addition!
If there was only one thing left on earth that I could eat, it would be potatoes. You can fry, bake, mash, dress them up…the options are limitless, in my opinion. Janine from Happy Happy Nester graced us with her Instant Pot Garlic Mashed Potato Recipe. You better believe I’ll be making these, because you can never have too many ways to make potatoes!
