Woah! We are in a heat wave here in the Mitten! With temps up in the high 90’s and the heat index above 100, we are doing all the things to keep cool. However, the garden is loving the heat and spurts of hard rain. Are you feeling the heat wave where you are?

My Personal Moments
- We have had a busy weekend! Yesterday, one of my beautiful DIL’s graduated with her Masters Degree. She is so bright and so is her career. Definitely proud! After her ceremony our oldest son was Best Man to his childhood friend. A day full of amazing memories!
- I found myself with some extra time on my hands while waiting for an appointment. Lucky for me there was a book store near by and of course, I made a purchase. Dear Future Me by Deborah O’Connor is about a dual‑timeline mystery that begins when a class assignment, letters written to one’s future self in 2003, resurfaces twenty years later, reigniting secrets and guilt in a small seaside town. Seaside town qualifies as a good summer time read, right?
