Happy hot, sunny Sunday from the Mitten! We are at the end of September and have temps in the 80’s! The warm weather, beautiful blue skies and fall colors on the trees, sure have made it pleasurable to be outside! Before I head out for the day, I wanted to share all my Mitten Moments with you!

My Personal Moments
- Big Al and I headed west on a five day getaway with friends! The weather was good, the company even better! I highly recommend time away with pals. It refreshes the soul, for sure!

- I recently watched the The Thursday Murder Club on Netflix. It was entertaining and I later found out it was based off a book series. So naturally, I needed to investigate. Needing something new to read, I’m going to purchase The Thursday Murder Club series set by Richard Osman. Based on how good the adaptation was, I’m sure the series will be just as good, if not better! I always enjoy the books better than the movies, anyway.

- Sherwin Williams released their color of the year for 2026. The color? It’s a neutral and named Universal Khaki. You can see it here.
- I’ve been working on decorating my porches for fall. I usually use all the colors of mums I can find, but this season I’m only using two. Can you guess which ones? If not, you’ll have to wait for my porch post, later this week!

A Few of My Favorite Moments
My good friend, Jennifer from Cottage on Bunker Hill, is talented at many things, but I especially love what she does with flowers. From drying projects to making wreaths, her projects are beautiful! Jennifer’s recent post on How to Make a Stunning Dried Fall Arrangement Using What You Have is a budget-friendly DIY you must see!

I’m always looking for something fun to create when I watch my granddaughters and Elizabeth from Pinecones and Acorns has given me the perfect idea. Her Easy Sweet Salty Peanut Butter Fall Snack Mix is sure to put a smile on their sweet faces!

Are you preparing for Halloween? My grands are already talking about it! Believe it or not, they usually request that I make them a “snack board” (aka charcuterie board) when they come to stay at our house. We’ll be celebrating Halloween with them and I found the cutest board to create. Crissy from First Day of Home made the Ultimate Halloween Charcuterie Board. You better believe this Mimi will be testing her skills on this snack board!
