My Personal Moments

  • Did you know today is National Letter Writing Day? I love receiving cards and letters in the mail, but I do believe writing letters and sending written cards is sadly becoming a lost art. I do my best to be intentional about continuing to send written notes. I even still send Christmas cards and just finished mine! Are you on team writing or no?
  • Today is also my oldest son’s birthday! Hard to believe I have a son as old as he is, but time moves on quickly, doesn’t it? He’s an amazing young man and Big Al and I are so blessed and proud to be his parents! Here’s to him and another wonderful year around the sun!
  • We had our first annual Mimi and Papa Christmas sleepover! Watch for my upcoming Mimi and Me post. I’ll be sharing all my best tips and ideas for planning a fun, festive, and memorable sleepover with your favorite littles this holiday season!

The headband features large, stiff, pointed ears made of craft paper and a red felt crown base trimmed with green sequins and tiny gold jingle bells. The crown is topped with a bright green sequined elf hat, also adorned with a jingle bell.
  • Have you ever grown paperwhites? I bought some bulbs and I’ll be sharing simple tips on growing your own. Stay tuned for my new post on these fun and easy-to-grow flowers.

A Few of My Favorite Moments

Let’s hear it for an easy and beautiful DIY! My friend Rachel from The Ponds Farmhouse shared her Easy Felt Christmas Trees. A budget-friendly Christmas decor item anyone can do!

The trees are accented by three small, gold glitter-covered decorative birds. In the background is an antique lamp with a scalloped tan shade.

Looking for something to share for an upcoming Christmas gathering? Well, look no further! Jen from Midwest Life and Style shared her Quick and Festive Cranberry and Feta Christmas Pinwheels.

The tree is garnished with fresh rosemary sprigs and a star cut from yellow cheese. Fresh cranberries are scattered around the board. If you’re on the hunt for a simple, high-impact craft, you have to try this one! CoCo from The Crowned Goat shared her Glass Glitter Snowflake Ornaments. Her tutorial shows you how to turn inexpensive snowflakes into dazzling snowflakes!
