Happy Sunday, friends! Well, we lost an hour of sleep, but in my opinion, we gained something better. Longer days and that beautiful evening light that just makes everything feel a little more hopeful. Am I right? While you’re trying to catch up on that lost hour of sleep, grab your favorite cup of, sit back, and enjoy all the moments I’ve gathered for you this week!

Let thy growing hours be strong to set right some wintry wrong.”

Hi, I’m Kim! Mitten Moments is my weekly series where I pull back life here at the Cottage. Each week, I share a peek into my week, what’s happening around the cottage, seasonal inspiration and a few favorite finds and links. It’s like a cup of tea with a good friend!
My Personal Moments
- I celebrated my birthday with my family last weekend. It was wonderful day spent together and I’m so thankful for another year around the sun! I insisted on the mix-matched candles, too! And did I mention Big Al got me tickets to see Il Volo? If you don’t know who they are, look them up! Phenomenal Italian tenors!

- Last week, one of my granddaughters told me she likes coming to Mimi and Papa’s house because we have lots of snacks here. Yes, sweet girl, yes, we do!
- You know me and historical dramas, I love them. I just power watched the 8 episode historical drama miniseries The Gray House on Prime. It follows a group of female spies who secretly work together to help the Union during the American Civil War. I really enjoyed it. It is narrated by Morgan Freeman and Kevin Costner was the Executive Producer. If you’re on the hunt for something good, I definitely recommend it.
