Happy Sunday, friends! I hope you had a wonderful day yesterday celebrating the 4th of July! We had a great one, however, our sweet dog Theo is over the fireworks! Hopefully, there aren’t too many more tonight. Anyway, it’s Sunday and that means Mitten Moments is here! My Personal Moments
- Like a huge part of the country, the heat has been tropical and some days unbearable to be outside. Can you relate? I saw a post that was encouraging everyone to take a moment and give thanks for Willis Carrier. He invented the air conditioner. I’m on board with being thankful for him!
- When’s the last time you ran through a sprinkler? Big Al and I are taking every opportunity to live large and be intentionally present with our granddaughters this summer. It was sprinkler-palooza, soaking our feet in the kiddie pool, popsicle kind of week. The girls loved it and we loved doing it with them more!
- Do you grow hydrangeas? I have Nantucket Blue and Let’s Dance Sky View varities and they have finally started to bloom. I’m smitten with their vibrant color! If you grow your own, make sure to check out my post on How to Dry Hydrangeas for Beginners: A Step-by-Step Guide. Drying them allows you to enjoy their beautiful blooms all year long!
- Two of our sons played travel soccer growing up. I love the game, therefore, I’m currently all about the World Cup! It’s been so fun watching it almost daily. The United States plays against Belgium tomorrow night and I can’t wait! Go USA!
