Big Al and I have been bike riding, I made some delicious bread, and enjoying yummy items from my garden and others who are generous to share! My Personal Moments
- We’ve been doing some bike riding in a park and on trails near our home. I was shocked to see some trees already turning orange. It is after all still August. However, the goldenrod is starting to bloom and that’s always a sign that fall is near. Are you seeing changes in your neck of the woods?
- In case you missed it, I recently shared some of our favorite August adventures, because summer is definitely not over yet! You can see my post HERE! I think you’re going to love it!
- I finally have a couple of heirloom tomatoes and I couldn’t be more excited. I didn’t think the plant was going to produce any this year, and what do you know! They’ll be ripe and ready in no time.

A Few of My Favorite Moments
I have three exterior doors and I’m always trying to find different ways to hang them. Well, my good friend, KariAnne from Thistlewood farms helped me with just that! Her post How To Hang a Wreath: 7 Unique Ideas has so many fabulous ideas for hanging your favorite wreaths, and they’re super budget-friendly! Who doesn’t like that?
My DIL’s parents just gave me a huge zucchini out of their garden. I’ve already baked some bread and have more zucchini to use and I found the perfect recipe for it! Jen from Midwest Life and Style made some Chocolate Chip Zucchini Muffins with Streusel. Sounds and looks delicious, right?
