Six weeks after wrist surgery and I finally got my cast off! Many thanks to all of you who have checked in, sent me a message, or prayed for me. I so appreciate it!
This weekend I’m working on all things Valentine and look what I found! This delicious Easy Oreo Truffle Recipe from my friend Mel at Southern Crush At Home.
I’m definitely making these for my Valentine gathering!

Speaking of friends, lucky me was introduced to Maggie at She Pens Truth. I’m always looking for a bible study to do and she has a list of free ones on her website. I downloaded one earlier in the week and I’ll be starting that Monday. I can’t wait!

Best Deal Of The Week
I’ve been on the look out for new accent chairs for my living area. On my search, I found this amazing chair from Pottery Barn, this week.
Simple and stylish, right?
It’s only $149 when covered in this neutral ash fabric.
Random Trivia
In honor of winter storm Izzy spreading a big mess of snow and ice from midwest down into the south and east, here’s a little snowflake trivia for you.
The largest snowflake on record was 15 inches wide.
15 inches!! Imagine trying to catch that on your tongue as a little kid!!
Anyway…
“On Jan. 28, 1887, two years before Montana was even a state, U.S. Army personnel witnessed a frisbee-sized snowflake falling from the sky in what’s now Keogh, Montana. Snowflakes sometimes combine before reaching the ground, leading to large, thick snowflakes. Today, it remains the title holder for the Guinness World Record’s largest snowflake ever.”
And Now…
Here are some other WONDERFUL moments, I found this week:
This year of DIY wreaths
This HGTV 2022 Dream Home Review
This low carb bread and biscuit recipe
These yummy cheddar bagel crisps
I hope you have enjoyed my Mitten Moments, this weekend.
I hope all the moments of your Saturday bring you more joy than you could imagine!

So happy to hear that you have your cast off, I am sure that is a great relief. I love the snowflake trivia, here is a little more for you. The first person to discover that “no two snowflakes are alike” was Wilson Bentley, also known as Snowflake Bentley. He was also the first person to photograph them. Thank you for sharing all of your fun links I am off to check them out.
Well, that’s fun trivia! I love learning new things. Thanks for stopping by!

Glad your cast is off and your wrist is slowly healing. The trivia this week was so fun as I watched the light flurries coming down this afternoon.
