Happy Saturday from the Mitten and welcome to my Mitten Moments!
You know the drill, those random moments from my week that I am sharing with you.
First things first, it’s been a heavy hearted week in the world. I have said many prayers and I pray these little moments of mine help brighten your weekend!
“Our own sorrows seem heavy enough, even when lifted by certain long-term joys. But watching others hurt is the breaker of most any heart.” – Clarissa Pinkola Estes
Well, warm weather, rain, and snow. We’ve had it all in the Mitten, this week! I’ve been so confused on what to wear. Is it spring or is it winter?
How about you? Are you feeling the same where you live?
I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that the perennials in the ground continue to realize it’s still winter.

This Week On The Blog
On my blog this week, I shared Five Easy Ways To Refresh Your Space. Making small changes in your home decor can really make your home feel new and refreshed, season to season.
I’m loving all the blues this spring and can’t wait to share all my seasonal changes with all of you!
A Few Favorite Mitten Moments
So many of us are ready for the sights and sounds of spring. This week my good pal, Tammy from White Lilac Farmhouse shared her post How To Create A Beautiful Hanging Door Basket For Spring.
Isn’t it beautiful and cheerful!? If you don’t know my friend, Tammy, give her a follow. She’s a gem and I know she’ll be so happy to see you!

My next moment is from Leslie from My 100 Year Old Home. Talk about a beautiful blog! In my opinion, she puts Martha Stewart to shame!
Earlier in the week, she shared How To Make A Hydrangea Cake.
Lovely, right?
Give her blog a follow…you won’t be sorry!

Random Trivia
You’ve heard about spring fever, right?
Spring fever is a real syndrome. When the temperature rises during the warm spell after a long winter, there is a dilation of the blood vessels so blood can be carried to the body surface where heat can be lost quickly. People experience an energetic feeling when this happens.
Now you know it’s real!
And Now…

Finally, that purple cottage blanket I told you about a couple of weeks ago, it’s almost finished. I can’t wait to share the story with you.
I hope all the moments of your Saturday bring you more joy than you could imagine!

I always look forward to your Mitten Moments Kim! My gmail puts them in my “promotions” inbox which I don’t like. I now know where to go to find it. The Spring door basket is beautiful! And that cake!! Your ideas come quicker than I can try them out! I still have to make the White Chicken Chili you spoke about in an earlier post. I’ll get to them eventually!
Thanks Michelle! I’m not sure why the emails go into the promotion box. Make the white chicken chili this week! You’ll love it!
