It’s Sunday and that means today is the day I share my Mitten Moments with you! It’s another snowy weekend in the Mitten and that is just fine with me! We haven’t had much snow at all this winter. I’m one of those people who really like to enjoy winter to it’s full potential and that includes lots of snow!
Below is a pretty picture of the little town I work in, here in the Mitten. Isn’t it so cute!?
I love the old fashion street lights!

My Personal Mitten Moments
Did you know I have had the same set of girlfriends since I was in kindergarden? If you know how old I am…that’s a long time. We have shared so many wonderful times together and this past weekend was no exception! Myself and one of my other friends in the girl gang are celebrating a “big birthday” in a few weeks, so it was a good time to be together. I’m so grateful for their love and friendship! Some blessings in life just can’t be measured!
Someday, I’ll blog all about them. For now, here is a picture.

I finished Colleen Hoover’s book Verity this week. I actually finished it in two days. What an ending!
If you are planning on reading it, I have to tell you there is some pretty colorful language. However, I really did like the story line.

Recently On The Blog
It was a quiet week on the blog. However, I did manage to get this yummy post out.
I’ve recently joined a fun group of bloggers for a monthly Pinterest challenge. Each month has a theme and this month was a Valentine’s Day recipe.
Did you see my post on The Eastiest & Sweet Valentine’s Day Treat that I shared on Tuesday? The pretzels were so fun to make and my granddaughter loved them.
That’s all that matters, right?

Happy Sunday Kim,
How wonderful to have such a special group of friends. My husband has a group of friends from grade school and high school. I unfortunately do not, we moved too much when I was growing up.
Thank you for sharing my cupcakes, I made them this week for our monthly meal to a local women’s shelter.
Have a wonderful week, enjoy the snow!
By the way, I am not sure if I mentioned it but I was born in Michigan and lived there for several years as a child.
I love that you take food to a local shelter! Hope you’re having a great week, Elizabeth!
