It’s Sunday and that means today is the day I share my Mitten Moments with you! I know a lot of the country is experiencing freezing temps. After single digits and just above, most of this week we are finally back into the 30’s.
If you are in the deep freeze tundra of winter, snuggle on up and come see what I have in store for you this weekend!

My Personal Mitten Moments
It sure was a busy week here at the cottage. My youngest son got the keys to his new home. The week was full of helping him clean, purchasing furniture and preparing my heart for his departure. He is our last son at home and he is the baby of the family. Although I am over the moon happy for him, I don’t pretend that it will be easy to see him leave.
Please pray for my momma’s heart!

A couple of weeks ago, I told you that I had started to sew and crochet again. I began a new crocheting project, earlier in the week, and I love the colors of it. Yes, the stitches are easy, but easing into this big project was best for my wrist.
It feels so good to be back at it!
Do you crochet or knit? If so, I would love to see one of your projects!

Recently On The Blog
It was a fun week on the blog. If you missed it, I joined some of my fellow bloggers and we each told you about some of our favorite Valentine/Galentine ideas. I shared How to Make an Easy Valentine Garland.
Although I don’t have a mantel, my oldest son and DIL have a beautiful one. So I gave the garland to them and I love the way it looks in their home.
It’s an easy project and one anyone can do! I hope you have the opportunity to check it out.

Coming Up On The Blog
Have you seen all the lovely gallery walls showing up in decor magazines? Coming up on the blog, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite gallery finds.
Also this week, I will also be resharing a reader’s favorite Valentine project! I’ll just tell you, there’s still time to make one!
I’m looking forward to seeing you back at the cottage so you can see what I’m sharing!

A Few Of My Favorite Moments
I don’t know about you, but I love a good banana bread. Especially with a good cup of hot tea! I recently ran across the LouLou Girls blog and found this delicious Pinapple Banana Bread recipe. Pineapple with banana…yummy! This is up next on my list to make!

My buddy Kelly is a fellow table setter! She always has the prettiest tables and this week she share her Colorful Valentine’s Day Table Decor Ideas. Kelly layers her patterns so well and always adds fun pieces to her tables.
If you don’t know her, you definitely want to check her out! Her blog is one of my favorites!

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and I love the way my good friend Tammy from White Lilac Farmhouse styled her floral arrangement, for the big day!
This week, she showed us how to Create Your Own Beautiful Valentine’s Floral Arrangement. I’m definitely going to try making my own!
Isn’t hers beautiful!?

My friend Cindy from Reinvented Delaware and some of her other blogging friends are doing a virtual book club.
Sounds fun, right?
Keeping with the theme of the book they choose, they create a meal. Cindy shared this Delicious Arugula, Pecan, and Pear Salad.
Nothing like a good book and good food!

Kim, thank you so much for sharing my floral arrangement. I appreciate more than words could express. xoxo I knit and crochet too. I don’t know how to work a sewing machine. Although I do own one. LOL
You are welcome, Tammy! If we lived close I’d help you with that sewing machine!💛
Happy Sunday, Kim. Sending hugs from one momma to another. My oldest turned 15 this week and I am so sad thinking about the day she will leave the house. Bittersweet for sure.
And thank you for sharing the link to my paperwhite centerpiece.
I appreciate the hug, Jen! It is such an odd time!

Awe, you’re so welcome, Missy! Hope your week is off to a great start!
It’s so hard when the kids leave home. I found having a blog was a huge help though. Hugs
