Are you ready? It’s Sunday and that means it’s time for my Mitten Moments. Whether you are knee deep in snow, basking in the warm sunshine, or maybe somewhere in between, take a moment to swing by my cottage and see all the goodness this week holds!

My Personal Mitten Moments
First, I want to thank everyone who reached out and wished me a happy birthday! It was an amazing day! I shopped until I dropped and had a wonderful dinner with Big Al. If you missed it, my family threw me a surprise party last weekend.
Ahhh…this girl feels so loved!
In fun news…while watching my sweet grands earlier this week and my 3 year old granddaughter looked at me, grabbed a book and exclaimed, “This is mine and I am the future!”
Yes, sweet girl! Yes, you are! That’s some girl affirmation right there!
“Age is strictly a case of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.” – Jack Benny
I’ve been working on planning out my gardens for this coming spring. My youngest son who recently moved out has five raised container beds and he has told me that I can plant whatever I want in them! I’m considering zucchini, beans, various peppers and tomatoes.
I will definitely be planting a bed of zinnias too!
Are you a raised bed gardener? If so, I’d love to hear what you have had success with!

Have you started thinking about decorating for spring? I have to admit, I am dreaming about spring but it is difficult to get into the mood when we still have the wintery white stuff on the ground.
However, I needed some springtime in my life, at least inside my home, and I shared How to Create a Spring Lantern – Pinterest Challenge.
