Happy Sunday friends! I don’t know about your neck of the woods, but the warm weather didn’t last long and we have had everything from snow to hail and rain this past week. On a positive note, my tulips did bloom! As I put this cold, yucky week behind me, I thought I would share all the good Mitten Moments I did see this week.

My Personal Mitten Moments
Do you remember me telling you that my youngest son recently bought a home? Well, if not, he did and it came with five raised garden beds! He has been gracious enough to let us create a “family garden” We gathered last weekend and worked to gether to get the beds ready.
Stay tuned for some posts on our family garden. I’ll be doing a new series starting next week!
“A garden is a grand teacher. It teaches patience and careful watchfulness; it teaches industry and thrift; above all it teaches entire trust.” — Gertrude Jekyll, British Horticulturist
It’s taken me awhile but I just finished the book Confess by Colleen Hoover. I did enjoy it, but now I need something new to read. If you have any suggestions, I’d appreciate it if you let me know in the comments below!
It was a joyous week for middle son, his wife and our family! His most recent MRI was good and he won’t need any follow-up for a year! That was the BEST moment of the week, hands down!

Not all my blog posts are about home decor, diy etc. Sometimes, I share what’s on my heart and this week I did just that. I chatted about perserverance and what has worked for me in my life. If you missed it, there’s still time to read The Best Encouraging Advice & Scriptures on Perservance: Overcoming Life’s Challenges.
