Happy Sunday! How is it that the weekends just disappear so quickly? I’m spending this beautiful Sunday knee-deep in my garden, planting some colorful flowers, and getting the patio ready for a summer full of memories! What are your plans? Before you start your day, swing on by the cottage and see all the Mitten Moments I have waiting for you!

Oh, one more thing I have to finish this Sunday! I’m so close to finishing this Cottage in the Mitten blanket. I love the colors and patterns on this one. Who doesn’t love a little Starry Night! If you don’t know about my blankets and why I make them, you can find out all about it here.

My Personal Mitten Moments

  • Are you a fan of the Netflix series Bridgerton? Season 3 just premiered and it did not disappoint! If you haven’t seen it, you should know it’s a little racy, but each season the storyline is so good! The music is exceptionally fun, too. It’s a mix of classical music and classical covers of pop songs.
  • Big Al and I started working in the garden yesterday. There is something so exciting about planting a new garden. Maybe it’s the excitement and anticipation of waiting and watching things grow. If you’ve never gardened, it’s a fun hobby to try! I have a post on Simple Tips for Starting a Raised Bed Garden.
  • I just finished “The Girl That Vanished” by Indie author A.J. Rivers. It is the second book in the Emma Griffin FBI Mystery series. Both the first and second books were quick reads and entertaining. This book is about a young woman has vanished without a trace, leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions. As the main character delves deeper into the case, she uncovers a web of secrets and hidden agendas. A mystery, which you know I love.
The second book in the series by A. J. Rivers called The Girl That Vanished.

My Favorite Weekly Find

I’ve been looking for a blue an white striped blouse for a long time. This arrived earlier last week and I’m a big fan. It’s oversized, which I love, and the perfect blouse to dress up or down. The sleeves are so cute, too!

  1. The new Bridgerton is on my list to watch over the holiday weekend. Your quilt and the colors are stunning. Love all of the fabrics selected for it.

  2. I just finished part 1 of the latest season of Bridgerton and you’re right it is so good. I adore that things are finally working out for Penelope! My Mom loves mysteries too so I will definitely pass along your recommendation. Have you watched The Jinx? It’s a documentary on Robert Durst. Season 1 came out in 2015 I think and the follow up season is out now on Prime. I don’t usually like stuff like that but wow it’s totally bananas what this guy gets away with. If you get it definitely watch Season 1 before Season 2. The Idea of You on Netflix was also good! Anyway, I can’t wait to dive into your links. I’m sharing your patriotic tablescapes tomorrow. They’re super cute and I really appreciate you sharing my napkins rings too. They were crazy easy! Hugs, CoCo

    1. I hope your mom loves the book! I love a good thriller. I will have to check out The Jinx as I have not seen it. So many people have recommended The Idea of You! I definitely need to watch it. Thanks so much for sharing my tablescapes! You’re so sweet! I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week and an amazing Memorial Day!❤️
