Happy first Tuesday of fall! Today, I am partnering with some of my amazing blogging pals to bring you our fall home tours. A big thanks to my friend, Kelly at The Tattered Pew, for hosting the Blogger’s Best Fall Home Tour.
I hope you are enjoying all the wonderful things that fall has to offer.

Before we get started, if you’re new here, my name is Kim and let me say I am THRILLED to have you in my home! Welcome!
Being from the Mitten, I’m blessed to enjoy all the wonderful seasons. Although spring and summer are great, we are heading into my favorite two seasons!
Fall and winter!
I love all the beauty that fall brings and all the magic that winter brings. Call me crazy, but yes, I do love winter!
If you are coming to me from my friends AnnMarie and Ann at Simply 2 Moms, like I previously said, I give you a great big welcome! AnnMarie and Ann have beautiful homes and an absolutely wonderful blog. It’s an honor to be blogging with them, today.
A Cozy Fall Table
Who doesn’t love going to someone’s home for dinner and seeing a pretty table?
I think it makes people feel like you went the extra mile for them.
Don’t you?
Have you noticed all the orange and teal that has been circulating this season? I love it so much, that I decided to use it inside my home this fall.

Finding a table runner with the same vibrant colors was a bonus for me and those stripe table napkins…they are a staple in my table decor stash!
Then, guess what I found while window shopping at Marshall’s? Some beautiful dishes with the exact colors! Already having a set of cream dishes from The Pioneer Woman’s collection, I used both to set my table.
I love mixing patterns and colors!
If you saw my post last week on An Easy Way to Transform old Candlesticks, now you can see where I actually used them. They were ideal for this table setting!
Adding some pine cones, I acquired on my last trip up north, pretty faux branches, and some tiny pumpkins, were the perfect additions.
I’m so please with how it came out!
I hope my guests will be too!

My Entry
My home doesn’t have a formal foyer. The first floor is one giant room, so I have to be creative with the space I have.
I keep a small cabinet next to the door with a large mirror over it. Using the same color scheme is important because with everything in the same room, it needs to be cohesive.

Do you have Golden Rod that grows wild in the area where you live? If not, I’m sorry. It’s fun and yellow and FREE! I went to the field near my home and cut some, using it in my teal vase. I added a few pumpkins and presto!
That little cabinet is all ready for fall.
Adding a throw, some yellow and fall floral pillows was my last touch.
Some Fall Favorites

Shop My Home
Give Me Mums and Such!
Decorating my porch for fall is my favorite!
Switching things up, every year, is my goal.

This fall, I used some wreaths that I’ve used in seasons past. They still look good and I love the vibrant colors.
I always start my porch decorating by shopping for my mums. If you have been visiting here for a while, you know I love color. So I am betting it will be no surprise, that I always buy at least three different colors of mums. This year, I bought yellow, orange, AND purple.
I threw in one muti-colored one too!

Figuring out where to put them is the next battle. After I figure out where to place them, I decide what else I will use.
How About Those Pumpkins!
I also love using pumpkins with a little character. In my opinion, they don’t always have to be orange. I actually hit the jackpot at my local grocery store, this year.

Guess what I found, while thrifting, that I knew I had to use??
A galvanized bucket! I have looked everywhere and landed one a couple of weeks back. Of course, I had to use it! Putting a pumpkin on top was the easiest way to decorate it.
What do you think?
I also snagged a crate when purchasing a ton of tomatoes to freeze. It was the perfect home for my multi-colored mum.

The Final Touches
Completing my fall porch were some cornstalks. I absolutely love it when they still have corn on them…however, so do the neighborhood squirrels! Believe it or not, my neighbor told me he saw a squirrel run off with a cob, before I got my pictures!!
Seriously…the nerve!

Here’s my fall porch in all her glory!

Oh, one more thing…you see that sweet little face? That’s my precious gbaby! If you follow me on Instagram, you know that every Tuesday, all summer long, she took time to smell the flowers. Now that summer is over, she is still smelling those beautiful flowers.
Bless her heart!
I hope she always remembers to take time to smell the flowers.

Wait, There’s More!
Now that you have seen my best fall home tour, please head over to my very talented friend, Ana from Fiddle Leaf Interiors. Her tour is one you don’t want to miss! She has a beautiful home!
I hope your day is amazing!
Happy fall!

Thank you, Paula! I went for a walk this morning and there was some color!

Well, that is so kindest! You made my day, Kristin! 💛
Ooh, I am crushing on all of your colorful mums! I agree about different colored, imperfect pumpkins–they’re my preference. I also had to laugh at your nervy squirrel story. The are incorrigible when it comes to garden mischief! It’s a pleasure to tour with you this week. Blessings, Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction
Haha, yes! Now that my pictures are done, the squirrels can take all the corn they want! So nice to tour with you, too! Happiest Tuesday to you!
Your home looks wonderful. Here in NZ, winter is not my favourite season but I understand why you would think that, having lived in Canada where winter is a wonderland. Here, it’s just cold and wet, nothing to celebrate at all. I’m enjoying the spring weather and the warm and lack of rain.
Thanks, Carol! We do get a lot of snow and so it definitely makes for a winter wonderland. I hope you are having a wonderful spring in NZ!
All those beautiful colors of mums are just amazing and your porch could not be any more perfect to welcome fall. Pretty cute grand little too!
Thanks so much, Michelle! I think my grand is pretty cute, too! 😉

Beautiful my friend! Your mum colors are so gorgeous! And I love your table runner, perfect for fall. I found the pumpkin and leaf-patterned dishes last year and can’t wait to use them for a tablescape. I tucked them away somewhere and you have inspired me to look for them.
