Mitten Moments

Happy Sunday, friends! I’m having a slow start to the day and I’m confirming that it is just fine! Sometimes you just need to take it easy. Whether you are busy or slow like me, I hope you’re ready for another week of fun Mitten Moments. I’ve got a little bit of everything. So grab your favorite cup of, or a cozy spot and check out all the internet gold I have for you!

Who doesn’t like a little bit of gold in their life?

My Personal Moments

  • I’ve been wrapping like crazy this week. It’s kind of embarrassing to admit, but I have 57 rolls of wrapping paper. You read that right…57! What in the world? I told Big Al he is not allowed to buy any more. I’ve even offered up the paper to my family so they don’t have to buy any. Hopefully, they take me up on it!
  • Last week, I told you I was going to see Wicked. It did not disappoint! I give it 10/10. If you enjoy musicals, you’ll love it too!
  • We celebrated my oldest son Jacob’s birthday, this weekend. What a joy he is to our lives! I won’t tell you how old he is, because I can’t possibly be old enough to have a son his age! LOL No matter how old my three sons get, when I look at their faces, I still see a glimpse of them as they were as littles. Is it just me, or is it a mom thing?
  • There is a documentary out called “A Beautiful Brain”, presented by Head for the Cure. It showcases the emotional and practical journey of caregivers supporting loved ones with pediatric and adult brain tumors. Head for the Cure is also the brain tumor charity that I support and donate part of my blanket proceeds to, in honor of my middle son, Mitchell. He has battled a rare but benign brain tumor since he was 16. You can read all about the journey HERE.
