Happy Sunday from the Mitten! It’s time once again to share all my good Mitten Moments. Every week, I highlight a few exceptional moments from my own life and from some of my friends. Before you start your day, grab your favorite cup of and check out all I have for you today!

It’s here! December is here and we have entered the countdown to Christmas! Do you have your list? Are you checking it twice? I ran to one of the big box stores in my area and it was a total mad house. I thought most people shopped on line now, but I guess I’m definitely wrong!

It’s been raining here for days and I hoping the rain will turn into snow. I love a white Christmas!

My Personal Mitten Moments

  • We took are oldest granddaughter to see Frozen the musical. It was the most magical day! Most the little girls attending were dressed in all things Elsa! Before we arrived, we sang the Frozen songs in the car. We giggled, smiled, bought souvenirs, ate pizza and took in the beautiful Christmas lights of the city after the show. Big Al and I might have even shed a tear. What a gift it was to love on her and see the wonder of it all through her sweet eyes!

  • My middle son and DIL’s cats love their Christmas tree. I’ve heard cats don’t like oranges, so I had some extra oranges and dried some for my middle son and daughter-in-law. I thought they could make a garland or just hang them on the inside of the tree. If you’ve always wanted to dry them, but have been unsure how, I’m happy to show you! Check out my post on How to Make Dried Orange Slices. It’s so simple and makes the house smell amazing!
