So many times we often overlook the true joy found in life’s simple pleasures. Through examples and practical tips, I shared how these seemingly small moments can cultivate deep joy, reduce stress, and bring greater meaning to your life. 8.) Simple Tips for Starting a Raised Bed Garden

I grew up with parents who were born and raised in the south. Gardening was a way of life and as my dad used to say, if it wasn’t for beans and taters he would have starved. My parents always had a little garden at home when I was growing up, and during the pandemic, my family started a raised bed garden, to pass the time.

This past summer, my son purchased a home that came with a large raised bed garden. With his permission, we expanded our love of gardening together. Perseverance can be a hard road to sometimes navigate and there have been plenty of times in my life when encouragement or a spoken scripture was a welcomed blessing. I’m so happy that this post made the top 10 because it is near and dear to my heart!

4.) DIY Tartan Plaid Photo Frame: A Pottery Barn Lookalike for Less

I love #4 and apparently you did too! Pottery Barn is a favorite of mine, but I don’t always love their price point. When I saw their tartan plaid photo frames, I knew I could create my own for much less. My DIY Tartan Plaid Photo Frames were easy and cost efficient!

I definitely accomplished the lookalike for less on this holiday DIY!

I have to admit, this wasn’t a post from 2023, however, every year it grows in popularity! This DIY was created out of a want to put my vacation beach stones to good use and I think it worked!
