Mitten Moments

Here we are at Sunday again and another week has flown by here in the Mitten! We are heading out to church then meeting our family for an afternoon picnic. What’s on your Sunday agenda? Before you start your day, swing by the Cottage and see all the weekly Mitten Moments I have waiting for you!

My Personal Moments

  • Have you ever watched a television series twice? I started rewatching Downton Abbey. It’s an oldie but goodie and I think I love it more the second time around. If you have any good series recommendations, I definitely would welcome them!
  • I recently preordered a new book. My blogging friend, Kristin from White Arrows Home wrote a book! Her book Adventure Awaits: Following God’s Direction to Follow Your Dreams offers a roadmap to unlocking your passions and turning them into reality. Learn how to identify your deepest desires, transform dreams into actionable plans, and build meaningful connections along the way. You can order yours here.

My Favorite Weekly Find

I’m a big fan of The Pioneer Woman’s dishes, mugs, cookbooks, etc. I was in need of a smaller dutch oven and found this pretty 2-quart blue floral one by Ree Drummond. Even the lid and floral knob on top is cute!

It seems as though the internet is currently flooded with all things fall. As a blogger, I will also be sharing fall sooner than most of you are ready for. However, I still have all the feels of summer and I’m enjoying every minute of it I can! That’s why I shared How to Build an Easy Stone Birdhouse.

A Few of My Favorite Moments

Tamara from Citrine Living has a beautiful home. Her Summer Living Room in Classic Blue and White stopped me in my tracks. From the beautiful oversized floral arrangements to the blue and white pillow covers, this room is stunning!

A bright and airy living room with a white sofa and armchair, featuring blue and white patterned pillows. The room has a white fireplace with a blue and white painting above it, and large windows with white curtains.

Elizabeth from Pinecones and Acorns shared a recipe for Hummingbird Cake. It’s a moist, tropical spiced southern dessert featuring bananas and crushed pineapple. Now that definitely screams summertime!

You can make cupcakes or a cake with her recipe.
