My Personal Moments
- Last weekend, we headed north to our friends cottage. The goal was to go Christmas tree cutting. My girlfriend, Julie and I, had matching sweatshirts and we were ready to find the perfect tree. Just like Clark Griswold! Cue the sad music…the tree farms didn’t open until this week. Needless to say, we still had an amazing weekend with family and friends!

- Have you heard of the Gales of November? They’re hurricane force winds and waves that occur over the Great Lakes and are associated with the sinking of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald. The ship sunk 50 years ago, this month. Gordon Lightfoot (if you’re old enough to remember him…lol) wrote a song about it. Well, if you live in Michigan or near the Great Lakes you’ve heard a lot about it this month. If you have never heard of it, I’m glad to have enlightened you!

- I picked up a new holiday read, and of course, it had to be a mystery! The Mystery of Mistletoe Hall by Benedict Brown has vibes similar to the movie Clue. When private detective Isadora Hyde is invited to a lavish Christmas party at a remote English manor, the gathering is shattered by an unexpected murder. Trapped by a snowstorm, Isadora must use all her sleuthing skills to unmasked the killer among the guests before the Christmas bell chimes.

Love the picture!!!!
And Love all the Christmas decorations! I’m trying not to put the cart before the horse, so to speak, and get too excited for Christmas, before I host thanksgiving! So this year no tree (need the room for hosting) which I usually put up, as I decorate full out for thanksgiving. I’m ramping up my game this year with my table setting, I got everything from Walmart this year, I love their tableware!! But your pictures really inspire me to jump ahead! Beautiful!
Always a great time spent with you and your family! Happy Thanksgiving! ❤️
