Welcome to my cozy weekly newsletter! My goal is to always bring you some of my favorite inspirational posts from the week. I may be a little late in sharing with you, but these Mitten Moments I’ve found are worth the wait!

We’re still in the cold, rainy weather mode. Mother Nature definitely needs to give Michigan a break. The poor weather has really taken a toll on my dogwood and magnolia trees. They both starting blooming and now the partial blooms have turned brown on the ends.
Sigh…
Did I mention the squirrels ate all of the heads off our tulips?

My Personal Mitten Moments
I so enjoy painting a good piece of furniture! I’ve had a specific project stuck in my head for weeks. The kind of idea you can’t get rid of until you complete it. Think the perfect shade of yellow and pink flowers. This project requires a specific piece of furniture. I’ve been on the search, but I have unfortunately yet to find it. I’ll keep you posted when I find the perfect piece!

Last week, I asked for some new book suggestions and I received some great feedback. Thanks to those who participated!
I just ordered A Death at the Party by Amy Stuart and can’t wait to read it! Have you read it by chance? It’s a whodunit, which is right up my alley, and the entire book takes place in one day.
I’ll let you know how I like it!

Did you get to see my Pinterest Challenge last week? Each month, my blogging friends and I are given an inspiration photo and we then create our own version of it. It’s always fun to see how everyone else interprets the project. This month’s challege was spring door decor. I made A Simple Springtime Door Basket with Tulips.
You could use really any type of flowers and it’s such an easy project to do!

On Wednesday I was on my first podcast hosted by Lynn at Living Large in a Small House! I shared my son’s medical journey, how it has shaped him and our family, and the blankets I make for a cause. A very important and pivotal part of my life. I am passionate about finding a cure for brain tumors and feel grateful for the opportunity to share my story.
